Help
How can we help?
The basics in five steps, then answers to common questions.
1. Choose your policies
Open Policies, pick your industry, and preview any policy. Add what you need to your cart; the discount is applied at checkout.
2. Set up your organization
After you pay, a few short steps collect your names, address, who's responsible and your attorney. Linked applications can fill these in.
3. Answer the questions
Open a policy and answer one question at a time. Tap a suggestion and edit it, or write your own. Skip anything and come back later.
4. Send it to your attorney
On the last step, choose Send to your attorney. Their approval or requested changes appear on the policy.
5. Publish and download
Move the policy through your approval steps, publish it, and download the Word file.
Questions
Is this legal advice?+
No. PolicyWise is not a law firm and takes no responsibility for whether a policy is legally compliant or lawful. Every policy must be reviewed and approved by your own attorney before you adopt it, and you can send it to them from PolicyWise.
Do I need an account to buy?+
No. Enter your organization's name and your email at checkout. Paying sets up your organization's page and your account.
Are there discounts for buying several?+
Yes, automatically: 10% off 2 policies, 15% off 3, and 20% off 4 or more in one order. Bundles are discounted the same way.
Can we change a policy later?+
Yes. Start a new version whenever things change. The published version stays in force until the new one goes through your approval steps.
What file do we get?+
An editable Word document with your organization's name, logo and signature block. Edit it in Word, or keep editing it here.
How does attorney review work?+
Add your attorney under Organization profile. On any policy, choose Send to your attorney: they get a private link (no account needed) to read the policy, download it, and approve it or send back additions, edits and deletions. Their answer appears on the policy. You can require attorney approval before anything is published.
How long does a policy take?+
Most take 10 to 40 minutes. Questions come one at a time, with an explanation, an example and suggested answers. Your answers save as you go, so you can stop and come back.
Can my team help?+
Yes. Add people under Team as owners, editors, reviewers or viewers. You choose who can publish and whether a second person must approve.
We use Xplor LMS or another connected application. Can it fill in our details?+
Yes. Link it under Integrations, or in the setup steps, and PolicyWise copies your organization's details from it. You choose which ones to keep.
Which industries is it for?+
Any small or mid-sized organization. Some policies apply to every employer; others are written for NEMT, transit, health care and other industries. Pick your industry in the catalog to see what fits.
Can we buy the same policy for more than one location?+
Yes. Add it to your cart once for each location.
