Human Resources Policy

Effective: November 6, 2026

Background

History

Your Business was founded in [year] to provide safe, reliable transportation for people who cannot drive themselves to medical appointments. What started with one vehicle has grown into a fleet serving riders across [service area], working with Medicaid brokers, health plans, and local facilities.

Goals

Your Business aims to get every rider to their appointment safely, on time, and with dignity. We measure ourselves by on-time performance, passenger safety, and rider satisfaction, and we work to keep complaints and incidents as low as possible.

Culture

At Your Business, safety comes first, and no trip is worth a shortcut. We value honesty, reliability, and respect for our riders and for each other. Employees are encouraged to speak up about problems, suggest improvements, and ask for help when they need it.

Employment Eligibility

Per the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986 and Section 274A(b) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) of 1952, employers must verify the identity and employment eligibility of their employees. Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification is used to document this verification. Consequently, employers are required to maintain original copies of Form(s) I-9 (paper or electronic) for at least three years from the first day of employment or one year from the date employment ends (whichever is longer) for inspection purposes.

Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

Your Business, LLC provides equal employment opportunities (EEO). All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, pregnancy, childbirth, medical condition related to pregnancy or childbirth, physical or mental disability, genetic information (including family medical history), or other factor protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws. It is prohibited to discriminate against individuals associated with or perceived to belong to a protected class regardless of the individual's actual association.

Anti-Harassment/Discrimination

Your Business, LLC upholds equal employment opportunity (EEO) practices throughout its locations and in all aspects of employment. All employees are encouraged to actively support these practices by reporting any and all instances of harassment or discrimination. Per company policy, violations of EEO practices will prompt a thorough investigation. Any employee(s) found to be in violation will be subject to disciplinary action including termination. Retaliation against those who report or investigate harassment or discrimination is prohibited.
